The Atlas Experiment assembly

A friend of mine used mencoder to assemble a couple of years' worth of webcam stills of the assembly of the Atlas experiment (link to original video at the end of the post):


(note:inactivity period is christmas - new year break)

The Atlas experiment is one of the five experiments built into the LHC. The biggest hope of the LHC is to detect Higg’s Boson. Each experiment have a brother which should be able to corroborate any results using a different method.
