I own the domain since 6.6.6 as I though it was a funny date. The name comes from the Cryptonomicon and the Necronomicon. As you might have already guessed, this site will mainly be about me (Nico).

I will probably buy some other domain names on 8.8.8(didn't) or 9.9.9 (did!), though I don't know which yet.

My name is Nicolas Hoibian. I am a software engineer. I graduated from the "Universitée Montpellier 2" in 2005. Since then I worked at CERN, on the LSA Project, the FMCM application, currently on the Database Logging project.

About the back end

This site was based on a slightly modified version of w2, but in the end w2 was updated too slowly, and I wanted different functionnalities for my home space. I call the backend nnmc.

nnmc is being coded partly at home, partly in the bus going to work, then on a MacBook Pro now on a MacBook Air (Rev B). It uses php markdown extra, php, flat text files and a folder based architecture. The aim being to easily use git for archiving the pages' versions.
